Ok, here is the deal.

Friday, February 13th, 2009 I may buy either a 360 OR a PS3. I'm sort of against 360 because of the high failure rate...but I'm against PS3's high price rate. But I don't have much of a choice between HD consoles (Wii isn't pure HD, sorry...and I still can't find one anyway).

SO..PS3 vs 360. What do you like about your 360/PS3 and what do you not like about it? Have you had any problems from it?

I'm also doing this to know what seems to be the most popular console among my friends so I don't get stuck out of the loop. :P Obviously that'd probably be a 360 or a Wii but I can't find a Wii and 360's making me second guess it. :/

Please only answer if you have one OR if you have played one longer than 2 weeks (seriously... I need like..some good solid facts and reviews).

There's always plenty of cross-platform game development, but at this point we've bought and played more games for the 360. We have admittedly had it for longer, but even our most recent purchases were 360. The PS3 is great if you have any intention of getting blu-ray, though. And it does have the new Ratchet & Clank which is, of course, awesome. I do believe Microsoft offers 3 year coverage on the red ring now, too.

Hmm...the Blu-Ray aspect is interesting, but I don't see DVD going away yet what with digital downloading becoming so popular. So I don't know if that's a moving factor for me just yet.

But the fact you're playing 360 more is more interesting for me..hm..

I agree DVD isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Just, if you have the HDTV, blu-ray is really quite amazing. Planet Earth was the first thing Jason picked up -- so gorgeous to watch.
