Ok, I'm typing up all my Psychology notes from my semester in Psychology. Why? Because I'd have something to do. lol

Here's the first page, called Introduction to Psychology.

Bear with me here, I wasn't in class for ALL the notes so some of em I might not type up. I did, however, pass with a D. XP

INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY

Psychology (definiton)
-scientific study of behavior and mental processes.

- Can involve both animal and human behavior.
- Covers everything we think, feel, and do.
- Helps us to feel better, understand others and ourselves.

Goals:
1) Describe
2) Explain
3) Predict
4) Control

Pychologist - Has a Ph.D in Psychology. Usually requires 4-5 years of postgraduate education. Cannot prescribe medication.

Psychiatrist - A medical doctor who has done a residency in Psychiatry; can prescribe medication.
