Kay, so I tried to upgrade the RAM right? Well...
I put the RAM in my mom's PC, it worked. Then I took the RAM for my PC and removed my 64MB RAM (I originally had 198, wanted to upgrade it). I put the 128 RAM in and then it wouldn't start up. So I waited, and then pulled it out, then tried to put the 64MB ram in and it still didn't work. It wouldn't even boot up or anything. =/
It just kept saying the video cable wasn't hooked up even though it was VERY securely hooked up. After that, I tried fiddling with the sticks to make sure they were in there correctly. They were and I tried again but to no avail. I removed the new one, tried it with the old ones, still didn't work.
I even tried with just the 128MB I already had in there. Still didn't work. So I rested a bit and looked up for some new PCs. After that, I removed the RAM and put it in the plastic container it came in (added my old RAM in too).
While doing that, I accidentally unplugged the cord to the power button and noticed the sticky tape had melted. The power button no longer works =/
torindkflt tried to help me fix it all night, but still nothing worked. He found a nice PC for me to buy next month. Sadly, the camera I was goign to buy will have to take a backseat for April. =/

The PC's sexeh. =D I'm looking forward to it.
Right now, I'm on my mom's PC on...AOL (free CD). I am SUCH a hypocrite...cause an AOL CD is the very first thing I looked for after my PC stopped working the first time. .__. Someone hug me and pray because I'm on AOL. lol...
Don't worry! I saved all my stuff on my external HD (My Documents was routed there so I had no worry of that). None of my important stuff was lost...except my PC itself. ._o;
